After brave and honourable service during the war, the crew of a motor torpedo boat find their old boat abandoned, they recommission the ship and put it to work. But when it becomes unprofitable, they begin smuggling innocuous black market items into post-war Britain, but through greed they graduate to more sinister cargos.
