A PLACE TO BE LOVED
Richard Crenna & Rhea Perlman.
Even an eleven year-old child has rights, and none more so than Gregory Kingsley, the American boy who made legal history by 'divorcing’ himself from his neglectful natural parents. In doing so, he set a legal precedent for the rights of children everywhere. Shuttled back and forth between his alcoholic father and uncaring mother, all Gregory had ever known is a sad life on the road or in foster homes. But when he meets the Russ family, his fortunes change forever. They are determined to adopt this quiet but charming boy and give him the stable, affectionate family life he deserves. But Gregory's hopes are shattered when his natural parents furiously oppose the adoption. Only one solution remains, he himself must take his parents to court and argue his case to be divorced from them.
