Bobby Earl is a very special person. Brilliantly talented, he’s destined for a first-class college career. Until he meets Tom, a rich, manipulative fellow student. But there’s a third side to the triangle: beautiful older woman Chelsea. Her attitude is ‘grab it all and never look back’ and Tom is soon completely under her spell.
Through enticement and subtle bullying, he lures Bobby into a life of crime. First petty theft, then arson. Bobby finally finds the strength to light back. "lf you’re going to Hell, you’re going there alone," he tells
Tom. Then, suddenly, he vanishes. only one person refuses to let the matter rest: Bobby’s loving mother, Rose. She’s convinced that Tom and Chelsea are involved in her son’s disappearance and guilty of serious crimes... including murder.
