Based on the true story of actor M.E. Clifton who before the D Day landings the British actor impersonates Field Marshal Montgomery in order to confuse German intelligence. Making it look as though the allies would land around Calais and not Normandy.

In the movie the part of M.E. Clifton is played by the real M.E. Clifton the actor who did impersonate Field Marshal Montgomery so successfully. 

Originally filmed in Black and White, we have colorized it.
