First broadcast in 1979 it was one of the first TV miniseries. Shown over 3 episodes lasting 289 minutes.
Since then, it has been butchered by various releasing company's. Back in 1979 we only had videotape (VHS, Betamax etc.) so the first company to release it for home viewing edited it down to just 115 minutes so they could fit it onto a single videotape. Then there was an Italian version, they cut it down to 2 hours.
The version we offer here is the full original 3 episodes on two region free DVDs, lasting a total of 4 hours, 49 minutes. Supplied in a cardboard sleeve with artwork printed on both discs and sleeve.
This is the complete 3 episode miniseries now very rare, first broadcast in 1979.
