One Shoe Makes It Murder

Rating 4/5
This is excellent example of a 70s take on the film noir genre of the 50s and 60s. Robert Mitchum is at his laconic best, Angie is superb as the vulnerable female, seemingly hard bitten but in fact not so. The plot is easy to follow with enough twists and turns to maintain interest. While this may not be a classic gumshoe film it is none the less well worth having in your collection. The technical quality of the playback is quite good.
