In an argument, Mats wife, who has just given birth to a child, is killed. The trapper reacts with the abduction of the chief's wife, who has just lost a child herself. The Squaw should take care of his boy. All three are fleeing. During the escape, the new mother, who accepts the baby as her own, becomes the outcast ...
Sacred Ground, is a wonderful true-life mix of drama and western. 
This adventure not only offers breathtaking nature shots, but also represents one of the best Indian films with outstanding acting performance's. As a starting point for an exciting action, Charles B. Price as Director, and cameraman, highlights the difference between the two cultures and attaches great importance to the highest authenticity. 
An excellent movie.
