Robert's Father finds himself compelled to reveal the truth behind his son's adoption fourteen years earlier. Shattered by the disturbing news, Robert life crumbles and he becomes desperate to find his real parents and discover his past. He runs away and finds his true family, introducing himself to the Monroe family as a runaway. Robert is overcome by their warmth and hospitality, and he is accepted into their home.
